Workshop

 Workshop

For the second phase of training, you’ll participate in an interactive workshop on Zoom with members of your local group.

Your group leaders will organize this meeting, consulting with you and other members to schedule a convenient time. The workshop will be one hour long on Zoom.

A member of CCNH will lead this session. Here’s the agenda:

  • Introductions, working agreements, agenda review: 15 minutes
  • Reflections and questions on learning so far: 15 minutes
  • Practicing conversations: role play with a partner: 20 minutes
  • Discussion of role playing, closing: 10 minutes

To prepare for the workshop, please do the following things in advance:

  1. Review the conversation guides. Choose one or more to print out, if you can, so you have it handy during the workshop.
  2. Review character descriptions for role playing and choose one character to play. You’ll do this in a breakout session with a partner during the workshop.

Here's a list of upcoming workshop dates. Click on one to register. You may want to consult your team leader about the best date for your group. You may also register as an individual. Registration closes the day before each workshop.

  • If you plan to host your team in one location, in a house party setting, please let us know in advance so we can adjust our numbers and welcome more people on Zoom. After your workshop, you’ll be ready to begin canvassing. To learn more about that, click here.
