Buttons

For Grafton County canvassers, we have buttons available—thanks to Bill Bolton of Plymouth Area Dems, who produced a batch for this project.  Please contact us if you would like GCD buttons.

In other areas, you may have your own local badges or buttons.  Feel free to identify your affiliation with Democrats in the way that works for your group.

Voter Registration Information

Canvassers should carry information on local voter registration in a form they can easily hand to people who need it. This might be a small cardstock brochure, like the ones produced for Canaan and Enfield, or a simple photocopied piece of paper. Lebanon designed a version that would fit on two sides of a business card, 2"x3". (Business card stock for a home printer is available at Staples )

Here is sample text:

This copy, for the interior of the cards, is provided on the New Hampshire Secretary of State website:

Registering to Vote in New Hampshire is easy! Register to vote at the town hall before the deadline or register to vote the day of the election at [your place to vote]. No matter when or where you decide to register, you will be required to complete a Voter Registration form. New Hampshire inhabitants who will be 18 years of age or older on the day of the next election, and a United States citizen are eligible to vote. There is no minimum period of time you are required to have lived in the state before being allowed to register. You may register as soon as you move into your new community.

You will need to show proof of having established a domicile in the town or city where you will vote. If you do not have documents to prove a qualification, you may prove identity, age, citizenship, or domicile by completing an affidavit that is available from the clerk.
